Aerial Shooting
Fleet Helicopters has full Civil Aviation Safety Authority approval to undertake aerial shooting operations.
The Company and pilots are FAAST approved (Feral Animal Aerial Shooting Team) and all have extensive low-level experience.
Fleet Helicopters’ turbine helicopter fleet is equipped with full colour GPS moving map capabilities for accurate coordination of shooting areas and recording of shoot details.
Fleet prides itself on the ability to conduct safe, efficient and humane feral animal shooting operations.
Aerial Baiting
Fleet Helicopters were the first aviation company in New South Wales to use Transect navigation systems on a GPS moving map for baiting operations, enabling us to achieve 97.7% accuracy, compared with 58% from our nearest competitor.
A differential GPS guidance system is now used for all baiting operations resulting in unequalled accuracy of bait placement.
Accurate digital mapping of bait placement can be supplied on job completion detailing the flight path and bait locations for landholder and departmental records.
The fully CASA certified bait container is capable of holding 200kg bait per load and we can provide experienced navigators and AQF3 qualified bait droppers
